How do you step from the top of a 100-foot pole?

With the darts of life hurling your way and climbing a mountain ever so steep we all come to a point where we have to make a decision on how do I step down  from the top of a 100-foot pole.

However, the quickest way out of something is not always the best way. “In this age, which believes that there is a short cut to everything, the greatest lesson to be learned is that the most difficult way is, in the long run, the easiest.” – Henry Miller

So, how do you step from the top of a 100-foot pole? One step down at a time, I’d say. The 100-foot pole will take you down to the 90-foot pole and the 80-foot pole will take you to the 70-foot pole, until you feel that you have stepped down enough to ground zero.
Stepping off a 100-feet pole means to take a risk. This is when you have been pondering about doing something, procrastinating, thinking and deciding and rethinking your options. Stepping off the 100-feet pole means that you finally say let go of your frustrations and accept things to be. You do not know the outcome and you might fail and hit the ground hard, but you take that step with courage in your heart.

For a person who recently having to balance bereavements with Tech deadlines, work deadlines and other responsibilities stepping down from the 100-feet pole gradually means acclimatizing to the situation in order to survive. This requires a gradual decline so that osne does not fall flat on their face.
